	I feel shame. My score sucked. @yankeespurs101 - Ovechkin had 1.51 pts/game last season. If he had played in all 82 at the same rate, he would have finished with 124. Then again, slumps happen, so there's no guarantee he would have made this list.

	There are fewer scorers of huge points in the 2000's; maybe, better team play? Or were the 70's-80's-90's big players just better?

	@chikka2: most people seem to think that the drop in point production in the mid 90's is due to better goaltending (butterfly stance rather than stand-up) and the neutral zone trap pioneered by the Devils in the late 90's. Great quiz! +1 on the need for more hockey quizzes.

	@Chikka, to expand on Hondo's point, what I've always thought was overlooked: In the expansion boom of the 90's (nine teams in ten years), the talent pool became diluted to a degree - eighteen goalies to fill rosters, along with 170 skaters. The sum was lesser than the whole of its parts. Also, great quiz; perfect fodder for the longstanding debate "Who's hockey's most underrated player all-time?"

	Just look at that 92-93 season. Lemieux, LaFontaine, Oates, Yzerman, Selanne, Turgeon, Mogilny, Gilmour, and Robitaille all with 125+ points.

	Look at the first six individual players: Gretzky, Lemieux, Yzerman, Esposito, Nicholls and Jagr. Nothing against Bernie Nicholls, who was a very good player, but playing alongside Gretzky in his prime simply catapulted him into the top five of players with the highest scoring seasons ever. That may one of the most significant pieces of evidence for freeloading in hockey. Well, perhaps not pure freeloading - he gave back a few assists and goals back to help Gretzky reach his 168 points in 1988-89. Anyway, great quiz.

	Howe never scored 50 goals in a season. Pretty amazing, and shows how consistent he was for over 20 years.
