| I'd like to respond to some of Mike's corrections.
2. Bulls-Eye I and Double Bulls-Eye are different games. Double Bulls-Eye was a "retooled" version of Bulls-Eye I. It is not the same game, just like Balance Game I and Balance Game II are the same thing or just like Easy as 1-2-3 and Clearance Sale are not the same game. They're just similar played games.
4. This is some confusion about this. Some say it is retired; some say it is on hiatus and being retooled--even at golden-road.net
(I have nothing aganist Mike--I don't even know him, I just thought I'd mention it.)
Also, I would like to point out that the end of the show is called the Showcase not the Showcase Showdown. The Showcase Showdown is when they spin the Big Wheel. (Notice that after the 3rd and 6th pricing game, the host says "We'll be right back with the Showcase Showdown." After the break, there is the Big Wheel. This is proof that the spinning of the Big Wheel is the Showcase Showdown.
Also, if the Showcase is considered a pricing game, so should the One-Bid. In truth, neither is a pricing game, just something that involves pricing an item.
Finally, I think the reason Blank Check and Check Game are listed is because a list of active games was complied from the Wikipedia page and then Brad Francini's site was looked at. Any pricing game listed there that was not on the Wikipedia page of active games was included here. Since Blank Check was on Brad's site but not on the Wikipedia page of active pricing games, it might have been concluded it was a separate (retired) game. This would also explain why Finish Line is absent. |
