your own source spells nizhny novgorod differently and you wouldn't accept that spelling. also you need to accept dnepropetrovsk. Finally, you forgot yekaterinburg, whose city population on its own would place it over 1.2 million

You seem to have missed a ton of cities - Kharkiv, Novosibirsk, Ufa. Also, Katowice, Gdynia, and Gdansk were never part of the Russian Empire - Krakow was in Austria and the rest were in Germany before World War I.

Additionally, Lviv, while part of the Soviet Union, was not part of the Russian Empire if you mean Tsarist Russia.

It's Kharkiv (or Kharkov), not Khakiv.
