In case you're interested, the article lists 269 schools, all the way down Lebanon Valley, with a whopping total earnings of $5000.

Please accept all abreviations; you don't accept UNC or UConn, but you do accept LSU & FSU. Also, an excellent quiz.

Awesome quiz. Notice no Pitt. Makes me think Jamie Dixon shouldn't get as much **** for not making final four run. Of course, they could be 51-100 but still.

Might want to look into this: it wasn't accepting "Florida St" for me, like it was with all the other "State" schools. Also of note: Steve Nash is a few years away from putting Santa Clara on this list. David Robinson and Navy missed by only 22 million. Trinity Valley Community College missed by only 40 million, shockingly.

Santa Clara came in at No. 64, only one spot (and less than $1 million) behind Louisville. That surprised me. I know Nash has been great, but I figured the sheer numbers of Louisville guys would have put them way ahead of SCU. Anyway, let's make this the March Madness bracket - that way, my Broncos are back in for the first time since Nash left. :) Of course, we'll lose to UNC by 100, but we'd be back in.

None (Lebron, Kobe, Garnett, etc) would be a nice bonus.

BrentH - that would be interesting. Just looking at the first few who come to mind - Garnett, Bryant, James, Howard, Gasol, Jermaine O'Neil, Lewis - they already go over a 1 billion. It would interesting to see the split between foreign players and high school players, but that would take too long to figure out using basketball-reference.com.

@BrentH: Kobe has earned $196 million by himself. Assuming he's the only player ever from that school, that would put Lower Merion High at #33 on this list, right below Oregon St.

Wow, never heard of Virginia Union, that's amazing that they are on here without even being D1. Looks like Ben Wallace and Charles Oakley are their big earners.

Hollabackitsobi, someone mentions two negative concepts in connection with rich basketball players and you immediately bastardize his comment into being about black basketball players, which he didn't remotely say or infer. So he associates weed and baby mamas with rich basketball players and you associate them with black basketball players... who's the racist?
