Great idea for a quiz. I'd probably give the full run of the series in the left column (after all, you've got enough space), but I really like this one regardless.

@Kicking222 Agreed. I'll do that.

while it only sort of counts, what about "Ally", the half-hour version of Ally McBeal? And that reality show The Law Firm that didn't last long?

@Polaris. One small mistake, she spells her name "Camryn Manheim."

@jonTK I thought about including "Ally" as a bonus, but took it out because it would just pop up automatically when you're trying to type "Ally McBeal". But you're totally right about "The Law Firm". (I have a bad habit of disregarding reality TV.) @sproutcm Wow, how'd I let that one slip by? Fixed.

You know what? When I first checked this quiz, I was sure to go through and check that every series was included... and somehow,
I
missed "The Law Firm", too. Still, worthy of the Editor's Pick- this is a fine game.

Oh, and I agree about "Ally"- no reason to include it, even as a bonus. It would just pop up annoyingly when trying to type the full title.

I'm really glad this one got published- it won't be the most-played, but it's a great game. Polaris, please make more quizzes.

Kelley writes some of the best, most hilarious and yet most thought provoking TV ever. No wonder he's picked up at least 3 best drama series Emmys and another for Best Comedy series. Or that so many actors win Emmys for saying what he writes.
And I love that so many of them share a common universe where characters from one series appear on another series. Even when the series are on different networks!

Technically, Life on Mars should be on here... he was the original producer on the show but was removed after the pilot

I'm delighted to see this quiz. Kelley is one of my favorite writers. Perfect timing for this quiz for me as I just received the Ally McBeal boxed set as a gift! I was sorry that The Wedding Bells didn't take off as a series a few years back. I enjoyed it a great deal. I'm kind of surprised to see only about 40% of Sporclers recognizing "Picket Fences". It was such a great show.

Wasn't "Second Chances" a spin-off of "Picket Fences"? Or was it just a rip-off? I think it shared some of the same characters, and featured the actor who wound up as the father/minister on "Seventh Heaven". (Listen to all the trochees!)

I was hoping LA Law would be a bonus, even though he didn't "create" it, he was one of the writers, maybe the best one. @Grunt, Kelley didn't come up with the original concept for Life on Mars. It was a British show. He did buy the rights at one point, but ended up selling them back to ABC.

I always liked his dark humor, especially set in dramas. But I never knew he did Doogie Howser! Not that I watched that show much - was it any good? It always struck me as an idiotic premise.
