To give credit where it's due, two people have in fact already created this quiz before me, but I think it works better as a clickable, so I went ahead and created it anyway.

What? SNL has standards?

I find it hilarious that Zappa was banned for making it obvious he was reading from cue cards. Every host and cast member on the show these days make it painfully obvious that they're just staring at cue cards off-screen.

would you mind putting the answers in the comments or something? I have no idea about any of these but really want to know who did these

This is a good quiz, but I'd like to see what your sources are on this. I know the Charles Grodin episode you're referring to, and the entire episode is based around the premise that he's unprepared and didn't show up for rehearsal. I find it hard to believe that they would re-write basically every sketch (including the cold open and a skit with Paul Simon where he forgets the words to The Sound of Silence) to fit this premise, if it were true. If you watch the episode yourself (it's on Netflix, and is actually one of my favorites), you'll see what I'm talking about.I've seen some sources online that say he was banned, but none of them list
sources, and none of the sites seem very credible. I've also found sources that say it's just a myth that he was banned. Still, this is a good quiz.

Thanks for the comments! My source was primarily Google, and probably none of these sources is 100% reliable. Indeed, not all of them agree (for instance, some say that RATM was permanently banned, while others merely that they were asked to leave), so I don't think I can claim complete accuracy. Still, I hope it's at least fun.
