	Before I get too many comments on this, I chose the sports on essentially arbitrary criteria, but I tried to get the most popular sports for those who might be playing this quiz. I added women's volleyball simply because it is the longest streak in team sports, and I personally found it very impressive. If you believe a sport should be added, please leave a comment with the sport, the team, and the length of the streak, and I will consider adding it. Thanks for your help in making this quiz better, and happy playing!

	Wow, I thought I knew these, but i didnt read the fine print you had up there, I knew the Colts broke the 'Regular season one this year, the sharks had 23 games in a row they either won or got a point, but i knew the New York (San Fran) Giants had a 26 game win streak in 1916, but after looking it up, found that they too had a tie in their win streak, otherwise I would have had all but the soccer right, good quiz though.

	The baseball answer should be the 1916 Giants at 26 games, since baseball doesn't recognize tie games. If it's good enough to be the official record of the sport, it should be good enough for this quiz.

	@skellig: That's the biggest tie-up I had in making this quiz--whether or not to accept that particular streak. But given that this is a "winning streak" quiz, I am inclined to go with the streak of games won, which belongs to the Cubs. If, however, people want the 26-game streak to be included, I'll find a way to incorporate it. For now, I'll make a bonus answer of it, and we'll see what happens.

	http://thequad.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/12/07/which-college-sports-winning-streak-wins/ I found this link to justify a shaky ploy to get UNC Women's Soccer on the list (UNC student with UNC bias; hence my screenname), but also found that the streak of all streaks is Men's Tennis (Miami- 137). Then again, I suppose tennis isn't necessarily a "team sport" by definition. However, at the collegiate level, I would argue that it is. In the end, I guess I would honestly not legitimately put either on the list, but by my same reasoning, I would take Women's Volleyball off the list, as well. Oh, and I apologize for the stream of consciousness post. It's late.

	jvc, the Colts won 23 straight REGULAR SEASON games, not including playoffs, they lost to the Chargers in the playoffs last season.

	@bsd987: Good call on my semi-slip up. I meant to say that Penn State has the longest streak in collegiate/professional sports; both of the streaks you mention are great, but I seriously doubt too many people would get them right in this quiz. @TheRealHeel: I also thought about the UNC Women's Soccer team, but I decided for the international soccer categories instead. Again, great streak, but I don't honestly know how popular collegiate women's soccer is relative to the other categories.

	@homoerectus69: I didn't know about that streak! All I have heard of Trinity College squash was a bit of bad sportsmanship in their national title match against Yale this year. I'm not sure exactly what to do with this; it would seem very arbitrary that the Penn State women are on here but Trinity College is not. Give me some time to think about this, and I'll make a decision on it. In the interim, I'd love to see your guys' input: what do you think about my adding Trinity college squash to this quiz?

	for hockey and soccer, couldn't you accept unbeaten streaks. It wouldn't matter in the EPL question, cause Arsenal has that too.
