Change made. Thank you! And to those of you who saw Drake as having 4 NCAA tournament appearances, they do have 4 NCAA tournament appearances, but only 1 (2008) since 2001. My bad.

Which NCAA tournament?

@bsd987: Great question. Actually I tried to clarify the title, but Sporcle won't seem to let me. I'd be great to have this title for a quiz that asks for NCAA hockey teams or something. I'll keep trying to change the title.

3 corrections/suggestions: You should include Boston U for Boston University, it's spelled Fairleigh Dickinson, and its UC Santa Barbara

@Pancakes188: Thanks so much for your help. I'll be incorporating all three of those changes. Again, if anybody sees any problems or any way this quiz can improve, please let me know!

I didn't see Florida Atlantic on there. I'm pretty sure there are a few other misses.

@Dylan1226: Another colossal failure on my part. I'm going to go back through all these and make sure I'm not missing any more. Thank you!

@homoerectus69: Ball State has made the tournament 7 times in school history with 3 wins. However, their last appearance was in 2000 (a first round loss to UCLA). On a somewhat related note, I was hoping this quiz could have been teams since 2000, but the Sporcle limit of 200 answers prevented me from doing that.

Former student at Central Michigan. They only have 1 appearance since 2001 (2003).

@Blasko54: Change made. Personally I really wish I would have overestimated the number of tournament appearances for my school.

I remember Hampton beat Iowa State in 2001. If 2001 is included, you missed them.

can you accept UNI for northern iowa as its often referred to. 2008 was such an awesome year for Drake, since they usually struggle to get a dozen wins.

Colorado State has only one apperanace. That came in 2003. Unfortunately they beat my UNLV in the MWC Championship to get there. They were a 14 seed and lost to the Ratfaces by 10.

@Magnum702: The Ratface is certainly an adequate description of that team from Durham that need not be mentioned. I would have loved to give Colorado State two of their appearances, but...yeah, they only have one. Thanks for the correction.

For anyone wondering: a sequel of this quiz is on the way which includes this year's tournament (but will probably have to get rid of the 2001 teams).

Could you please accept "University of Virginia" or "UVA" for Virginia?
