| @TheKingOfCarmel: Only in the movie. She was in her cage and the motorbike turned over, Harry was just able to hold onto his rucksack and Hedwig's cage, but his firebolt was dislodged and fell. As he was just trying to recover and stow Hedwig and the rucksack between his knees a curse is cast and Hedwig is hit while she is still in her cage. Later, the motorbike splits from the sidecar still carrying the lifeless Hedwig and Harry blows it up to impede a Death Eater in his chase of Harry and Hagrid. |
