	Wonderful idea! I love 8-bit. :) I thought Rhode Island was hilarious. :) I think a few states shapes are off, even considering the limitations of 8-bit: Ohio, New Jersey and Indiana.

	@explodingtrees: The shapes are correct. They lose a lot of fidelity in 8 bit, the way i did it was to create a grid pattern over an actual map, then if a square was more than half a given state, it got colored in with that state's color. @Metagloria: I will maryland a number and add it to the list, not sure how i missed that

	@pgrossma I commend your systematic approach. Were you using a map projection of the US where the country looks "curved up" at the ends (the horizontal border with Canada is curved) which means Ohio and Indiana are "tipped"? Ohio and Indiana still look deformed to me! :)

	I used a Mercator Projection. I considered using a spherical projection, but decided that if the "square states" weren't square, it would be too disorienting.

	As for why Ohio and Indiana appear deformed to you, I believe I can explain it. My assessment is that the irregularities in the Ohio border are too small for the resolution of the 8 bit grid to display and so it appears more square than expected. As for Indiana, I believe its "deformity" can be attributed as follows: at the point where Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio meet, more of that square was occupied by Kentucky than either Ohio or Indiana, therefore that square went to Kentucky, If you look at Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Illinois in the new map, you will see that they all fit together nicely. I hope this helps clear things up, I'm glad there is someone out there who gets as excited about maps as I do :)

	Based on my own testing of the quiz I believe it to be just the right amount of time. The statistical results confirm that people are able to get tot he end of the quiz.
