| Looking down the answers list, this quiz could almost have been titled “Often mistaken for countries”! No, that's unfair, actually… these are all places that in some sense can be called countries; but on Sporcle, “country” is generally assumed to mean “sovereign nation”, which many of these (Falklands, Macau, Réunion, St Helena, Tahiti, Wales) aren’t, so unless you put a note explaining that you’re using a wider sense of the term, I'm afraid you’ll be getting an awful lot of flak over this very very quickly. |
