	I created this quiz and even I had trouble remembering FC Magdeburg. On a separate note, the expansion of the Champions League which killed the Cup Winner's Cup (and the UEFA Cup to a certain extent) also killed the domestic cup competition in nearly every country save England and a few others. Nowadays, nobody bats an eye when a continental power suffers a "shock" exit. Real Madrid and the like practically scoff at the Copa del Rey (Barca's victory last season was the first in a decade, Real's last was in 1993). Even the vaunted FA Cup has seen a precipitous drop in prestige.

	Dynamo Kiev should probably be accepted for Dynamo Kyiv, especially considering the English name is accepted and used for Bayern Munich.

	Agree with Mortz. Also Paris St Germain should be acceptable for Paris Saint Germain. Excellent quiz though and we do need the competition back.

	Don't need Cup Winners Cup back, just need a champions league place available to domestic cup winners. You wouldn't see top European teams putting out weak sides if that was the prize to the winners. Winning FA cup is bigger achievement than finishing fourth, and should be rewarded as such.

	The club is just "Rangers" though, just like there's no Sporting Lisbon. I agree with Dinamo Kiev being accepted, I tried all the Moscow teams and Zenit and still couldn't figure out where I was going wrong, did manage to get Tbilisi that way though.

	@dovetastic... it might work in some leagues but seeing the grip that the big four have in the uk and pretty much the same in italy and kind of in spain too i don't think it would make them take that much more notice of the cup competition. I think they should scrap the super cup being called the super cup and bring back its old name ... the cup winners cup winners cup. Best name of any competition anywhere (even if it is only one game!)

	Simply "Bayern" and "Werder" should be accepted. Are there really any other (consequential) clubs with those names other than the ones from Munich and Bremen? I mean, Atletic gives you Atletico Madrid when you are trying to guess at Atletico Bilbao (:blush:), but Bayern doesn't give you "Bayern Munich" nor does Werder award "Werder Bremen"... Oh, and also another vote for "Glasgow Rangers".

	Hey, just to point out something that no one else has yet, when I typed in Dinamo Kiev it gave me the answer for 1975 but not 1986- the latter only accepts Dynamo (note the 'y'). Maybe this has been overlooked?

	@Kauboj - It's Athletic Bilbao no Atletico owing to the Basque language rather than Spanish. I found English teams harder to guess than others strangely.

	While the idea of this quiz is excellent, the delivery is poor. There are too many formatting & name issues in this quiz.
