	You mention the Great Lakes, so by that definition (and by the definition of most people when they think of an outline of the Continental US, methinks), Illinois and Indiana should be included.

	Nice quiz. I agree with jonnyr12 -- since you mention "great lake" in your instructions, the list following Minnesota should be: Wisconsin, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, ... Of course, one could argue that Lake Michigan is entirely within the U.S., and so the list in the game is correct as is. I'm fine with that, but then the "great lake" comment in the instructions is a bit of a red herring. I would just omit it, since I don't think anyone would be confused if you didn't mention the great lakes in the instructions.

	Oh, I meant to respond to emanuel: It's true that Philadelphia is a port city, but you first have to go up the Delaware River from the Atlantic Ocean to get there. If you start including rivers as you trace the border of the U.S. then where does that end? When you get to New Orleans do you go all the way up the Mississippi River, branch off into the Missouri River on your way back, and then trace your way back down to New Orleans before moving on to the rest of Louisiana, Texas, etc.? That seems silly to me.

	Like timeandtide said, Pennsylvania is up the delaware, then I could also include any state that touches the mississippi if I included PA at the beginning. I will fix the Illinois-Indiana issue. Thanks for the suggestions!

	first you go around the upper peninsula of michigan back down to wisconsin and later on back around the lower peninsula of michigan. Thats why there are two. This also leads to Wisconsin being there twice.

	I agree with TimeAndTide. Just omit the 'great lakes' comment, and leave out illinois and indiana. The intention seems to be the border states, and while wisconsin touches canada by way of lake superior, illinois and indiana just touch more of michigan.

	@mjkelly42: I see your point, but technically I have to include Illinois and Indiana since the two peninsulas of Michigan are not connected, and therefore, lake michigan is a "outer edge." If it was connected, then I would not include Illinois and Indiana. Plus, I cant delete or edit my first comment, so I cant take out the great lakes statement.

	If you include michigan twice, thereby getting illinois and indiana, you should include wisconsic twice: both before and after the first michigan.

	@pbrown: You can go up the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and then down the Mackinac Bridge to the Lower Peninsula without ever leaving the state of Michigan. The part of Lake Michigan that you're calling the "outer edge" is still a part of Michigan. I say get rid of Indiana and Illinois.

	I like it the way it is now, with the doubling of Michigan and Wisconsin. Makes for a complete picture of the outline of the contiguous 48 that way.

	I don't think it is complete yet. because a small portion of virginia is at the tip of the peninsula, it would start "Maryland-Virginia-Maryland-Virginia-North carolina. I actually created the same quiz myself a few weeks back. Check it out if u like.

	@jayke: I must not be seeing what you are seeing because I'm looking at a map, and after New Jersey, if you are traveling south down the atlantic coast, you first come to delaware, then maryland, then the peninsula of virginia. you then cross the spot where the chesapeake bay meets the atlantic ocean. when you cross that, you are still in virginia. you then continue south to north carolina, south carolina, etc. I think your idea is if you were to head up the chesapeake bay, but in this quiz, I excluded ideas like that to avoid any confusion. thanks for your comment, regardless!
