This is a really cool quiz but you need to accept loads of different answers. I tried 'moon landing' 'ground zero' '9/11' 'gettysburg' and at this point i gave up cos i got sad, i did however get world war 2 which i thought was a bit vague considering the photo. Make this quiz much more lenient and itll be nominated for sure

more are needed for sure, particularly the moon landing one. I also had a real struggle getting the ice hockey gold medal (which I didn't get). Was the Reagan photo relating to the fall of the Berlin Wall? I didn't think just saying 'Reagan' should have been right as its not the event, just the person in the photograph (thats different from Kennedy's assassination and Luthers speech, where they were the event so should be accepted)

In addition to accepting loads of different answers, (maybe 'Battle of Iwo Jima') I think this quiz could benefit from being forced to answer in order. I just typed in random US Wars and got half of them that way.

I typed in many variations of "Washington crossing the Delaware," "crossing the Delaware," etc. and missed it because I didn't think to type "River." Also, "tear down this wall" and/or "Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall" might be nice to accept; I know I tried those two before I tried just putting in "Berlin Wall." Those ones are my two cents!

Thank you for all your comments and suggestions, I really appreciate them. I edited the answers, so hopefully it will be more forgiving, but It's hard to please everyone, so bear with me.

If you accept 'Reagan' for 12, you should accept 'Washington' for 9.

@Golden: That picture is NOT from the gold medal hockey game in the 1980 Winter Olympics. It's from the semifinal win against the USSR which is known as the "Miracle on Ice." The gold medal game saw the U.S. beat Finland 4-2 two days later.
