| Good idea for a quiz, but some things should be changed: The thing called "Zirkel" in German is a compass in English, not a circle. Maybe Berlin should be accepted for the capital, it was never officially known as East Berlin. The currency was "Mark" or "Mark der DDR", not German Mark or East Mark and especially not East German Mark. Football must be accepted for soccer. NVA and Nationale Volksarmee should work for the army. Also, Federal Republic of Germany should be accepted for West Germany. And maybe you could add West Berlin as a bonus answer for neighbours, as the GDR officially insisted that it was not part of the FRG. |
