The quiz is confusing. You should rename it to "US States with oldest population". After I realized what you were asking it made more sense. Good quiz except the name

You may want to consider having the top 10 or 20 and maybe 10 more as extra answers. I won this quiz because I knew the states in ABC order (and knowing Florida has old people).

I don't get it at all. I typed quote a lot of these states and they didn't show up. I finally hit the quit button since I was pretty sure I'd typed nearly every state. I'm completely baffled.

Just looked at the list again. I typed every one of them except Connecticut and Iowa (two of the ones I forgot). So how come the others didn't register?

Having all remaining states for bonus answers doesn't work, it's too easy to quickly run through all of the states that way. Maybe cut the time by a couple minutes if you want to keep all of the bonuses.

I've changed it to just the top 25 cutting out the hidden answers. Thanks for the comments. Let me know if there's another way I can make it better.

The top of the list has such a strong image for "oldness" that 99% knew this (even a non-US fellow like me). I knew all but one....and the remaining one was one state I thought entering. Because there are two groups of states+the top one, it's easier to guess once you get one representative of each.

Needs a lower time limit... you can just guess all of the states.

Fairly good quiz. I second Gangsterls, though, in that the current time limit is simply too high, and allows for too much guessing. From what the previous comments were describing, this version seems much cleaner, and better overall.

Good quiz. Hope you enjoy my quizzes.

How do these states (like Montana) have only 121 old people
Sep 30th, 2010 at 05:15 GMT
^^^ There's less people in the entire state of Montana than in the Bronx, which is just one of the five boroughs in NYC. And whereas the Bronx is roughly the size of San Marino, Montana is about as big as Japan.

Maybe this quiz should be retitled "US States with the most senior citizens" ... "oldest population" implies average overall age.
