	These are in to much of a logical order, Australia and New Zealand as the first two, then the other biggish country Papua New Guinea, and then the to "Islands" countries 1 after another etc.

	Just a comment on the Tonga explanation: 100 scored by American state. One score = 20 years (as in the Gettysburg Address "four score and seven years ago" = 87 years ago), so "100 scored" = 100 x 20 = 2000. 2000 pounds = one ton.

	Vagaries of the cryptic crossword I'm afraid. 100 in cricket and snooker (to name but 2) is a 'ton'. I only included the word 'scored' to highlight that the 100 was a sporting reference not a hint to the Roman 'C'

	The only bone I have to pick is Nauru: it is 3 syllables, not 2, and is pronounced NAH oo roo, not NOW rue. I figured it out, though.

	@calvino, @parklife I have never played snooker or cricket so I had no clue about 100 being a ton in of itself. Amazingly enough, though, I had the exact same thought process as calvino and figured it was 100*20 = 2000 (for 2000 pounds). So, even if it was not your intention, it seems to hint "ton" successfully in multiple ways. Nice quiz.

	@Acid_snow. Thanks for that: I think you're probably right. Across all of these sets (196 countries and 2 sets of capitals so far), I have tried to avoid 'sounds like' clues, for precisely the reason you highlight. That said, since you managed to work it out, I might leave that as it is for the moment. If others have a similar complaint, I'll revisit it.
