@midwesterndiva: Have double checked this. Professor McGonagall gets mentioned half a page before Dedalus Diggle.

Fun and challenging quiz, I really enjoyed it! Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn''t Tom be a nickname for Thomas? So I would think Tom would be an acceptable answer for both riddle sr and his father.

You shouldn't need to have the last name for Frank Bryce - you don't for any other. Other than that great quiz! Really got me thinking!

Is there a reason that Lucius Malfoy requires a first name, but no other answers do?

Great quiz. Only got 45, but it was still fun. It wouldn't accept Malfoy, which I would recommend changing since Lucius is the only Malfoy in the quiz.

I agree that just "Mason" should be accepted... I tried several variations and still didn't get them. And I personally think that just "Riddle" should be accepted for all the Riddles, but maybe I'm just a sore loser. ;) Cool idea for a quiz, anyway. :D

You should change this to first ten names mentioned in the book because some of these, Adalbert Waffling, Wendelin the Weird, and Bungy the budgie, for instance, aren't actually characters. They're just names that are mentioned, they have no part or substance in the story.

Really good idea for a quiz, but you need to be more consistent - either accept both names, first name only, or surname only for all of them.

ashw731 - Philosopher's Stone is the original British title. It was changed to Sorcerer's Stone for the US because the publishers thought kids wouldn't read it with that title. JKR says it's her biggest regret with the books, agreeing to that change.

@bob_the_blob: While I agree with you, I would like to point out that none of the Riddles are named Thomas. The males' name is Tom. It says so on Voldemort's father's grave.
