	Shel, I basically just tried to go through the hebrew in my head and translate... "brei**** bara elokim et hashamayim v'et ha'aretz. v'ha'aretz, hayta tohu vavohu" etc etc

	@avgnyer--me too! it's amazing how much you can get just by translating. but תהו ובהו is very hard to translate. as is רקיע.

	Agree with BlueCyanide - the KJV is just not helpful for anyone who hasn't memorised it. How would anyone that hasn't used that translation get "firmament"? Whereas someone used to NIV is able to get ESV and vice-versa because the language is modern.

	I'm not used to this version either! I'm not sure what version I read, but it might help for you all to know that I'm Catholic. It took me a little bit to get some of them. "Firmament" made me stuck like for a whole minute or two! (FYI: I didn't get that word at all) Ah well, at least I got a fair amount: 136. If it's possible, one more minute please? Thank you.
