i would give this quiz a definite five if the actual resource was from 2009 or even 2008 and not 2006. update and i will rerate.

Nice quiz. I think you should accept "Windows" for "Microsoft", as I'm looking at the logo right here on my computer. It does not say Microsoft. @mattat777 - Looks like Nike just missed the cut at #23. So close.

@googlebird--it says companies. Microsoft is the company.

@DResq - Why is "Coke" accepted? Coke is not a company either.

I don't see #'s? Made it confusing. Googlebird you're right a bit, because I typed Windows first.

googlebird, Skydog, and dman1: What you're forgetting is that the Microsoft logo is also seen on products that aren't Windows, aside from the fact that Windows isn't even a company anyway, it's a product made by Microsoft. Bottom line: Windows isn't a company.

Is it too much to ask for the misspelling "Proct
o
r & Gamble"? It's a bit of a surprise to see Goldman Sachs on this list given the uproar over their bonus payouts...

Very good quiz. Only thing is I think GE should be accepted for General Electric. It took me a while to remember what GE stood for because the initials are generally accepted everywhere. Very good overall though.

If you look, you can spot the hidden arrow in the FedEx logo that is supposed to represent speed and quickness of their deliveries.

Should accept "Cosco" alongside "Cosco Wholesale". Also, I have a feeling that both Toyota and Goldman Sachs will be off this list soon. ;)

it does accept cosTco, when spelled correctly. also the microsoft logo is the logotype that says "microsoft", not the actual windows logo which represents the product. you don't see the windows logo on office products, you see the office suite logo. the microsoft type is always there though

The numbers are kind of off, at least for me, but that really doesn't matter much to me. Good quiz :) I never knew Southwest's logo until now actually lol, I guessed almost every other major airline in the US.

I'm pretty sure that's the Window's 7 logo, not the Microsoft logo. There's a big difference. The Microsoft logo is black text on white background, just the word "Microsoft" in a stylized font. Windows 7 is not a corporation, it's a product.

Agree with what everyone said about Microsoft. Their logo is just black text with a slash in the O. That Windows logo doesn't mean Microsoft anymore than the Xbox 360 sphere.

Again ProctOr and Gamble needs to be corrected. I would also accept Federal Express in addition to Fedex

In your numbering where the answers are, there are two number 7's and they both have asterisks next to them for some reason.

It is embarassing that people admire Walmart (labor laws don't apply) and Goldman Sachs (major cause of the recession)

Having only lived in Asia, Australia and Europe, I haven't heard of or seen the logos of a third of these. Must be big in North America?
