	First, you need to give some sources - I've never seen a Top 5 cities list that didn't include Tokyo, and I don't think I've ever seen Karachi or Istanbul in the top 5. Second, in the Canada category, you ask for Provinces AND Territories, but Nunavut, Northwest Territories and Yukon are nowhere to be found.

	Agree. Tokyo, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Jakarta are all bigger than Karachi. Nunavut is bigger than Saskatcewan

	You need to accept "Himalaya" for Himalayas, and Greenland should not count as one of Denmark's coastlines. And the Mississippi and Missouri, while often lumped together, are not a single river, and requiring the quiz-taker to guess that is deceptive.

	When did China become larger than the US? With Alaska and Hawaii, the US is the 3rd largest country in the world. Also, what's your source for largest cities? I'm just wondering, because depending on the definition of city, São Paulo is bigger than than Seoul.

	@DethLeppard: The area of China is not well-defined, as there are substantial territories which are claimed by both India and China (Aksai Chin and Trans-Karakoram Tract in the Indian north/Chinese west and Arunachal Pradesh in the Indian east/Chinese south). There is also disagreement over whether to include Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao. Consequently, estimates of China's area can differ by 10 or 20 thousand square miles. These estimates happen to straddle the US's (unambiguous) area of 3,717,813 square miles, so depending on your criteria, China can be bigger or smaller than the US.

	Good effort, despite some unexpected answers. Maybe the "biggest oceans" and "biggest continents" ones could be replaced by something more challenging? For instance you don't have a list of biggest or most populous European states.

	Lake Baikal? Are you asking about area or volume? Where is Nunavut and Northwest Territories? Aren't those bigger than some of the answers you listed? Caribbean, Mediterranean, Sargasso?

	@WinnieNicklaus: I don't see why the area of China is not well defined. I take a very practical view. If you control territory it counts toward your total area, if you claim extra territory you don't control it doesn't. Until China invades Taiwan and controls that territory it simply can't count toward their total area. If you go by claims alone then Taiwan (ROC) is a huge country itself because they claim the territory currently occupied by China (PRC). The same argument applies to other countries' claims to territory: if they occupy it and control it then count it, otherwise don't. The category is largest country by area, not largest country by area claimed. At some point you have to bow to reality, or as my favorite Philip K. Dick quotation puts it: "Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away."

	It is a good idea, but there are some errors. Sudan is no longer the largest country in Africa and Philadelphia is the 5th largest city in USA, not Phoenix.
