OK, per my note above, some initial feedback, for starters:
1) Although sometimes it "works" to use partial words as clues, I don't generally recommend it. And you should never simply use a portion of the word, when that portion is not a word itself. So, delete all of those shows, except Homeland which might work still - we'll see later.
2) Your answer column should only be the missing word, not the full title, and then that column should be made much narrower.
3) Rather than merely list the number of nominations, I think hints would be useful - in this case, perhaps a key (well-known if possible) actor, with the number of nominations following in parenthesis. Since you will have just narrowed the middle column, the third column will hopefully be wide enough to accommodate the information.
4) Put some flow in the instructions (which currently are merely repeating the quiz title). Perhaps "Can you name the missing word from the 2013 Golden Globe Nominees?"
Let's start with that. I'll have a few more suggestions after that, and sometimes things come up during the process, but one chunk at a time seems prudent. |
