	1. You obviously didn't poll a single Sporcle user, or Kyrgyzstan and Liechtenstein would be first and second on this list. 2. I'm surprised India isn't on here. The country behind Bollywood, the biggest producer of cinematic parody, isn't sarcastic? Shocker! 3. As crash said, your "various nationalities" seem to have been mostly English-speaking people. So this isn't really a great sample.

	Loved it! But that may be something to do with the fact that 8 of these answers were the first 8 countries I guessed. Wish I could think of a sarcastic comment. ;)

	People in Scotland and Wales speak English though? Wales may have their own language but very few people speak it nowadays and it is not the most commonly used language. English is definitely the most commonly used language in Scotland also. As for South Africa - if you watch their national teams play sports they all speak English as a first language.

	When owenh says Scottish does he mean the Scots language, or Scottish Gaelic? Even the Scots language (sometimes thought of as a variant of English) is used more amongst older generations and/or working class people and it can't be found that much amongst middle class people. And something like 99% of Scotland's population cannot speak Scottish Gaelic.

	I was merely pointing out that they aren't all English speaking countries. I even polled one or two Welsh and Scottish people whose first language wasn't English. But however the results came out, people wouldve disputed them.
