	The thighs clue got me big time...I kept trying Hams for hamstrings. Hams wasn't correct the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time I tried it.

	Funny. Gams was one of the few I did get immediately. Maybe I just have a fondness for old timey English. Then again, I do play jazz. On the roly poly clues, perhaps it should say rung instead of row. That threw me for a little while.

	I actually got from the third word to the last and then went backward for the first two. I'm not familiar with Phish. Others aren't familiar with gams. We older folks like to play too. :)

	@flutesofchi. I also got totally thrown by "rows" on Roly-poly. I was looking for some deep connection between plump and all of the clues in the next "row". Rung, answer, clue, or box would have clued me in.

	Great clues, which are often an overlooked part of a great ladder. A really well-written ladder can alternate simple and difficult clues because the structure allow the player to work out the missing piece.

	@FlutesofChi: Man, why do all these good suggestions have to come after the quiz gets published? You're totally right, "rung" is much better. (It said "clue" for a while, but that seemed to refer to the next question rather the next answer.) @Hreathemus: Honestly I'm surprised nobody has complained about that clue. Probably the most obscure, but I guess this is a nerdy enough crowd.

	Spoik, it's called Football in the USA for the same reason your game is called Football in the UK; it's played on foot. It's called soccer in North America because it was short for AsSOC (Association) Football. That term was invented in the UK, btw. North Americans call their version of Football the way they do because its short for Rugby Football, from which it was derived.
