	I think it says something sad about the state of the industry that not one of these is in traditional American-style 2D animation. Not that I'm knocking the other stuff, of course; I enjoyed most of these listed. It's just sad to see a particular style of animation fall by the wayside in the industry.

	If I had to rank these movies from best to worst I think I'd go (1. Spirited Away) (2. WALL-E) (3. Finding Nemo) (4. Ratatouille) (5. Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit) (6. Shrek) (7. The Incredibles) (8. Happy Feet) I'm only doing this because I think this is the first movie quiz where I've actually seen all of the movies, and I'm slightly curious about what other people think.

	I think that this is the most disappointing category in the Oscars for me personally. Being an avid fan of animation, I've always been shocked that computer animated kids movies have dominated the nominees. Spirited Away, Wallace & Gromit, and (from what I understand) Wall-E are certainly exceptions of course.

	No the last one should not be 2008, and the first one is not 2001 max power. Those movies were released one year, then won the oscar the year after they were released. So even though shrek came out in 2001, it didnt win until 2002.

	I just have to say spirited away is an amazing movie. amazing in a way all of the other movies arent. Im not saying all th others are bad, just that spirited away has a uniqueness only Hayao Miyizaki could create.

	@ MRL there might be others, but Emperor's New Groove is one of the last, recent animated features I can think of that was 2-D and actually pretty good. Not oscar-worthy, but good

	MY FIRST QUIZ!!!! I hope you enjoyed it, everybody. Alas, I'm on a mini-vacation (and borrowing a friend's computer), so I don't have the time/ability to answer questions if any of my other quizzes pop up over the next few days, but this one was straight-forward enough. 	Oh, and "Spirited Away" is easily my favorite animated film ever, and one of my favorite films of any kind. Honestly, that was the sole reason I made this quiz (along with it not existing previously). So again, hope you all had fun.

	@Bencraft: I made sure to include one or two variations on the spelling, since I knew it was a difficult word. I'm not sure if the admins added or subtracted any spellings, but I know that "Ratatoullie" at least works. @Tapestry: I'm a 24-year-old single guy. That's what's wonderful about "Spirited Away"- absolutely anyone can appreciate it and see its beauty. @Josh: Thanks a lot. Alas, I can't divulge real details about how you become a quiz-maker, but for me, it involved much begging of the Sporcle gods.

	The answers ARE off by one year. Although, for example, WALL-E won the Oscar in 2009, it was for films released during the 2008 calendar year. It is officially labeled as the recipient of the 2008 Best Animated Feature Academy Award (at the 2009 Academy Awards ceremony). That is the standard Oscar historians, journalists, and others go by. The quiz asks "Can you name the winners of the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature?" Thus, the 2001 Academy Award winner for Best Animated Feature is Shrek, etc.
