| @Deeisenberg: the quiz is about GDP per capita, and Equatorial Guinea does have a high GDP per capita. This quantity is only supposed to measure the total wealth relative to the population, and doesn't take inequality into account (which, in my opinion, makes it pretty much useless). For example, if 1% of a country's population are billionaires, and the other 99% are destitute, it will probably have an extremely high GDP per capita, though nobody would describe it as wealthy. |
