It's kinda weird that Sporcle has me instinctively spelling "Ukrainian" incorrectly these days...
Either way, I would standardize the caps. It's capitalized by default as a noun in some languages, but not in others. I'd go with the dictionary rule of thumb and only capitalize when necessary.

You should probably have "Italian or Spanish" in the answer. I just guessed Spanish for cosa and was confused when Italian appeared.

Definitely capitalize the German word. That's just the way the language works. (Some people actually call nouns Ding-Worte.)

their "spelling" of the word thing? That's a very odd way of putting it. Surely you mean their translation of the word thing. And yes, it should be Ding, not ding.

'ting' is also Norwegian for 'thing'
