Great idea for a quiz. I think you should accept 'greasy' for answer two, as i'm pretty sure thats what he actually says. I also thought that people from jersey taste of cardigans according to the BFG (not certain of this one tho!)

One would have to have read the book to savour the deeper flavours of this one, whatever they might be. Interesting.

It's been a while since I read the book, but don't people from Denmark taste like Labradors, and people from Labrador taste like Great Danes?

Well that was amusing. I never read whatever book this quiz is referencing. But I had fun trying to guess anyway. I tried English muffins, Labrador retrievers, beef Wellington, and "shirts" for Jersey. Fun stuff.

In my opinion, this is one of the best books ever written and i'm glad that there is a quiz on sporcle about it. If there is anybody who hasn't read it, then I strongly recommend it.

For those of us who aren't fortunate enough to have a clue what 'BFG' refers to, would someone here please clue us in? It sounds interesting.

@beerslayer: The book "The BFG" by Roald Dahl. BFG stands for Big Friendly Giant.

I had no idea what the BFG even was and I still scored in the 93rd percentile by guessing a combination of the place listed in the hint and random foods.

I went and grabbed my copy of the BFG, since some of the answers seemed off to me, and I was right. Humans from Jersey taste of Cardigans. Humans from Denmark taste of Labradors. Humans from Labrador taste of Great danes! Still, nice idea for a quiz, the BFG is just about my favorite book, ever!

For "humans from England" I guessed English Muffins. I've never read the book, okay? (But I do love Roald Dahl)

Had to google the BFG to find out what it was. Never heard of it. You could have spelled out the title instead of using an acronym.

@TAR2: The title of the book actually is "The BFG," not "The Big Friendly Giant." I suppose oldkent could have made things clearer by saying "...from Roald Dahl's 'The BFG.'"
