	Nice, but a wicked, wicked time limit for those of us who doubt ourselves easily! Unless the quiz has made me crazy, your B and C answers for Brandeis are the same.

	I liked this quiz but have a few suggestions. 1) I'd like to see more people or things other than places. Sporcle has made me good at spelling countries but Yaz was hard here, and I don't know if I'd recognize the right spelling for Coach K's name. 2) I'm sure it was pretty hard to come up with some of these alternate spellings but a couple of them didn't really seem to be possible/likely answers. For example I have no idea what Hephaestus is, but all the ones with Fs just looked wrong (so maybe something like 'Hephestus'). Also along those lines, Cincinnati should have at least one answer with two Ts since I see that sometimes (Cincinatti seems to be the most common). Still, good idea and I gave it 5 globes.

	Neat idea for a quiz, but I agree with the calls for more names. It's also a touch unfair to ask for foreign place names that have been transliterated--Khrushchev springs to mind, as does Guangzhou (which can also be written Kwangchow). Also, Montpellier most certainly is a city--in France!

	20% of people still can't spell Kyrgyzstan. Has Sporcle taught us nothing? Just a couple of minor points from me - the Icelandic capital currently gives choices of A, B, C or C. Also could you change it so that the correct answer is displayed when we get wrong answers? That way we can see where we went wrong.

	@oldkent: The only suggestion I'd have on this is having more plausible alternatives for "Massachusetts". That's actually one I always have trouble but it's still obvious from the choices you have there. I would suggest perhaps "Masachussetts" and "Massachusets"

	Druhutch, there's a song, possibly on youtube, from the 50s that goes: "M-A-double S-A-C-H-U-S-E-double T-S". It runs through my head as a spellcheck when I type.

	Neat choices. I never really thought of Brandeis as difficult to spell, so I'll assume the 40% who missed it haven't heard of the school (or justice) and assumed it was some sort of distillery institution. One quibble: some of the words that were transliterated from other languages have many possible spellings. Hephestus is listed as an acceptable alternative in my dictionary, for instance.

	The quizzes do not accept spelling out the word even though it asks for the word in the box. They are marked wrong even when I have the right spelling. I went back and typed in the letter for that spelling and got them right. Need to clarify this

	Re: yimaster's comment, perhaps the quizmaker should add asterisks around the wrong answer text in the spreadsheet? That way typing it out doesn't actually do anything.

	You need to specify that we need to enter the letter. I spelled the words out correctly and got the wrong answers for it.

	@oldkent: thanks for addressing yimaster's comment, but now you can cheat by just typing all the spellings out and seeing which one is accepted. (It won't be enough to add the wrong spellings as wrong answers: then people who type Guangzhou and Tallahassee will be stopped before they hit the last letter.)
