| This is the worst thing ever
In your defense, I like that you grouped Russel/Chamberlain/Abdul Jabbar. It is really difficult to make a clear distinction who is the best of those three because of all their great accomplishments.
Also I appreciate the respect for Elgin Baylor, a lot of people forget him and he was an outstanding player.
After that this quiz is ridiculous. Dennis Rodman are not among the 50 greatest players of all time much less the 15 (I know Scottie is on the 50 list, but I disagree). Did you ever think that rather than them making Jordan look good, HE MADE THEM LOOK GOOD???? Before he had them Jordan was scorching the entire league for a million points a night, getting the DPOY and having great rebound and assist night. It is preposterous to say that "they made him look good".
Jordan is unquestionably better than everyone on this list besides those top 3, and to clarify...I dont like Jordan, he has a ton of serious character flaws, and if you watch his HOF acceptance I think he is pathetic as a person. But Jesus he was good at basketball.
I think mos of the rest are right in terms of who is on the list and who isn't, Id move Magic up and Dr. J and Baylor down. Yeah he was on stacked teams, but so were Jordan, Bird, Russell, Chamberlain, and others. Magic was ridiculously athletic, gigantic for a PG and good thread the ball like no one besides Pistol Pete and Oscar Robertson.
I would also get rid of dominique, great player, super exciting, but doesn't belong on this list. He, Rodman, and Pippen just don't measure up. To replace them I would choose from West, O'Neal, Bryant, Karl Malone, Tim Duncan, and probably a couple others who arent coming to mind right now |
