| To Mr. T: If you were to check every fact listed on Wikipedia, you would find that nearly EVERY one is true. If it is any sort of mainstream article (like an article on a country, for example), then it is pretty certain that everything you'll read in it is true. Mainstream articles like that are constantly edited and updated, and if you were to change something, it would get caught right away. Articles that are about something more obscure are not as trustworthy. Not many people visit them, and so there are less people that would catch an error. But, by the same token, there wouldn't be as many people visiting that article that would put untrue facts in the article. Either way, while you should be wary of information you find on Wikipedia, if you check the facts with another site, you'll almost always find that they're true. |
