A little confusing, because while they're clearly using city proper definitions for the US and Germany in particular, they appear to be using metro area definitions for Japan and some other countries.

It seems you're right about Japan. South Korea seems to be metro area as well. Although Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul would be included even if it was city only, in a slightly different order.

Severe lack of asian cities in here. Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Djakarta are some of the biggest and most prosperous cities in asia and yet there is no mention of them in your quiz. Perhaps cities in asia don't feature highly in your opinion, i refer to the comment about islam in the times dates quiz. And you call yourself civilised?

If you do them you seriously need to wake up from whatever fachist and segregated world you currently live in and start to learn more about what you insult before you insult it. It's opinions like this that destroy harmony and peace, which coincidently is what islam stands for and abides by.

Are you joking or you seriously didn't get the point of my quiz? I thought the question was pretty clear: "Can you name the cities which have the most headquartered huge, Fortune 500 companies?". Those are the cities that do and that's it. My source is Fortune Magazine.

One thing I noticed. Petro Canada is now owned by Suncor, so it's possible Calgary now has just 3.

Thanks for pointing it out, you're right. But I'll nevertheless wait until the 2010 list comes out and Fortune takes them off the list before I update the quiz.
