Ehhh, I'd take Pujols over Tex, Hanley over Jeter, Mariano over Franklin, Hoffman over Fuentes, Halladay over Carpenter, and Crawford or Granderson over Ethier. Interesting list though.

not to be nitpicky, but it's spelled HUSTON Street not Houston Street. and i wouldn't include Chris Carpenter on the pitchers list. Cliff Lee or Roy Halladay before him among others. And Pujols should be included, but that's not as big a miss as Carpenter

It's amazing how many people didn't get the concept of USA team. The logic here is flawed though. The creator simply took the results of the Cy Young and MVP voting. There isn't a single person alive who would pick some of these guys over Roy Halladay, but he used the voting system to amke his picks, which is just stupid

I don't think its stupid, I think its objective. Anytime a creator uses opinion they get blasted, hence why people here are blasting him despite his objectivity. Whether the title Ultimate USA 2010 team is misleading, this is a quiz about the top American born players in MVP and Cy Young voting in 2009 by position. If anyone would take the time to understand the instructions they would know that. Good Quiz.

Albert Pujols is a US citizen though he was born in the Dominican. I love Longoria, but A-Rod's better (yes he is American too). This quiz could be cool but you have to list your criteria and stick to the hard and fast (thats what she said) and for the love of all that is holy, dont make so many spelling errors.

Troy Tulowitzki should be there over Jeter.

Why wouldn't you have Ryan Howard as a DH? Adam Lind? Really? One good year and you put him over Howard or Prince? Halladay should be on here. As should A-Rod at 3B. Or even Wright. And Rollins as a utility over Zobrist.

The title really is not clear. USA baseball team. Albert Pujols plays in the USA, so does Hanley Ramirez. 2010 American Born Baseball Team or something similar would work much better.

I like the team. I would just question the Torii Hunter selection really. You've got great talent out there with Justin Upton, Joey Votto (moving Lind to OF), Nick Markakis, or Billy Butler (moving Lind to OF). I have Hunter more on the same lines as a Hunter Pence or a Curtis Granderson.
