Goombas don't have legs, their feet are connected straight to the body.

I was ready to do this quiz, but then I noticed a preview image in the "You might also like these games:" section (specifically the Super Mario Bros Enemies (1985) quiz) was a picture of a Goomba. Sporcle just accidentally spoiled your quiz! I wish there was something you could do about that...

Here, I found a Goomba with its mouth open. You can see its tongue. http://www.mariowiki.com/File:TrGoomba.jpg

Typed body as a last second effort to get the last one, it really should be the same as head.

How 'bout Mario's boot since it's pretty much on Goomba's head 24/7.

I don't know about in the crazy CGI new games, but when I was playing Mario on NES and SNES, Goombas did not have tongues.

I think teeth and tongue should either be bonus answers or not included since in its most basic form ( as seen in Super Mario Bros. on the NES) it has none of these. Also eyebrow should be accepted for eyebrows because as you can clearly see in this original sprite it has a unibrow. http://www.videogamesprites.net/SuperMarioBros/Enemies/Overworld/Goomba.gif

Tongue was not a part of a goomba, search google images and scroll and scroll and scroll until you find one with a tongue. I feel gipped.

the head is the brown part of the goomba, its body is the little white part that connects the head to the feet. come on, people!

If you look at pictures with a Goomba with its mouth open, you'll see that the bottom of its mouth is pink while the rest is black--hence a tongue.

I typed chest, stomach, belly , midsection, abdomen, thorax, midriff, and several other words for the "body" answer. I had all of the others, but wasn't smart enough to type body. Perhaps accept some other choices... Still: awesome, creative puzzle.

I think stalk or stem should be accepted for body - it is a fungus, after all

Yes, "stem" for body and "cap" for head - that's what you call them on a mushroom.
