I think there is a conceptual problem with your quiz. Now first off I like that you didn't include (for whatever reason) the 'first Krakoa team', a whole other team of X-Men made up much later and said to have been sent to the living island before the Giant Size #1 team. That's a good judgment call. However, including "Phoenix Force" is a terrible judgment call. Firstly, because it doesn't join the team. It possesses one of the members. "But it doesn't possess one of the members!" you say. It was posing as Jean all the time! Yes but that's ret-con nonsense they forced on Claremont years later. You ought to reject it with the same eye for quality with which you rejected the made-up-the-fact X-team of Vulcan and Co. I also have a problem with Lockheed's inclusion. Now I like Lockheed, I think he's a fine character, but it wasn't really until years later, when he was no longer even a member of the X-Men (I believe he had followed Kitty to Excalibur), that he was shown to really be an altogether sentient creature, or anyway more than a pet with a dog-type intelligence. Otherwise good quiz.

Agreed with above. Phoenix Force and Lockheed just don't fit. Choosing to leave off Professor X is also intresting but I get why some people don't actually count him as an X-Man

thanks for taking my quiz but marvel.com considers both phoenix force and lockheed members. But i'll consider changing it. Thanks again!

Maybe you could at least accept "phoenix" for "phoenix force?"

Agree with the conceptual problem. If you're going to include Changeling and Phoenix Force, you need to include the retconned first Krakoa team. On one hand you're saying current members don't need to know about new members joining for it to "count" (Changeling as Prof X and Phoenix Force as Jean). On the other hand you're saying the second Krakoa team doesn't count because no one remembers them.

@tmfitz3 i'll do that, good idea. i'll look into the krakoa team thing and just add them thakns!!!

so on the first krakoa team; they were thought up later and premiered in a later issue so do not warrant entry since they were not part of the original twenty. Yes they were "retconned" but all X-Men mentioned in the quiz were thought up and premiered before vulcan, darwin, sway and petra.

Counting Phoenix Force and Lockheed is lame and technically doesn't count. Should only be "real" people.

I like that Lockheed was included but don't agree with phoenix force.
