| I admit that I included a lot of newer wrestlers. My goal with these quizes is to have pictures that will challenge hardcore wrestling fans, but still have it be possible for a casual fan to get more than half the answers. Dino Bravo almost made it, but I decided to leave him out. There are a number of older wrestlers like Sharpe that I wanted to include, such as Gene Kiniski, Whipper Billy Watson, Yvon Robert, Edouard Carpentier and others. Not to mention a number of Stampede Wrestling mainstays like Archie Gouldie and Dan Kroffatt. But in those cases, I think even a hardcore fan would have a challenge identifying them. In the masked wrestlers quiz, pre-'60s legend Dick 'The Destroyer' Beyer was originally included, but less than 3% were getting him, so I took him out. It's sad really, but can't be helped. |
