Stopped when Petrucci, Mustaine, Satriani, and Vai weren't accepted, but somehow Kurt Cobain is. And Kirk Hammett gets snubbed, but the far inferior guitarist from Metallica does? Joke list by joke magazine.

Yeah this list is very bad. Cant believe they put Billy Gibbons or Prince over Satriani. Also a lot of people Ive never heard of. I wish Dan Auerbach was on it; he may be on the next one since the Black Keys have taken off.

The metalheads are right, this list is bad and Rolling Stone should feel bad, as they probably always should. Lots of great guitarists left off for more famous, but less "talented" ones
