nrsilver : Jul 15th, 2010 at 07:38 GMT 3 points Unscramble the words, and then take the unscrambled words to unscramble the phrases. For example 'WEN PHAPY RAYE' might unscramble to 'NEW HAPPY YEAR', which would the unscramble to 'HAPPY NEW YEAR'. Note that all punctuation is ignored. Note also that some words may be proper nouns.
bettymouse : Jul 15th, 2010 at 08:31 GMT 2 points Really enjoyed your quiz! (Spelling mistake on pronounce)
Tahnan : Jul 15th, 2010 at 08:56 GMT 3 points You've got an extra O in "EBO". Other than that (and the aforementioned spelling mistake on "pronunce [sic]", this is a neat idea for a quiz, nicely done.
Chromatos : Jul 15th, 2010 at 09:07 GMT 2 points Not to mention the fact that it should say "you're" instead of "your" for the 5th to last question
nrsilver : Jul 15th, 2010 at 09:55 GMT 5 points Oops, sorry about the typos guys. Should be fixed now.
WyvernSabres : Jul 15th, 2010 at 10:30 GMT 3 points Very good variety of contexts: good quiz. One more typo - there's a word in question 17 which has disappeared from the answer. Confused the heck out of me for a minute!
houserulz : Jul 15th, 2010 at 16:35 GMT 6 points Very nice quiz. The idea of scrambling both the words and the letters makes for a solid challenge. And there is lots of variety in the clues. Good job.
eyeluvtrivia : Jul 17th, 2010 at 14:55 GMT 2 points interesting! Medium difficulty for me, but was fun trying! (14/20)
sampson13 : Aug 1st, 2010 at 08:59 GMT 5 points Good quiz...I think "Houston we have a problem" would have been somewhat more familiar...I live in Cape Canaveral.
Hermy : Oct 25th, 2010 at 12:16 GMT 3 points Fun game. Great idea.

Akd17 : Dec 18th, 2010 at 04:25 GMT 7 points How can only 20% have gotten the last one, yet 50% have gotten them all? Strange...
toadhjo : Dec 18th, 2010 at 05:01 GMT 8 points Sometimes if the quiz is modified the stats don't add up.
WeaselKing1000 : Dec 18th, 2010 at 08:58 GMT 5 points I initially put in 'Scotty beam me up'...before realising that's not the actual line but a lyric from The Firm's 'Star Trekkin''
RJMurphy : Dec 18th, 2010 at 11:18 GMT 7 points Great quiz, bit more time
alice1810 : Dec 18th, 2010 at 12:47 GMT 14 points Great quiz! Love that the words are in the wrong order too.
Comment below threshold: show it Timberwolf : Dec 18th, 2010 at 12:54 GMT -15 points The quote is "one small step for A man." But a great quiz nonetheless.
janiac : Dec 18th, 2010 at 13:51 GMT -2 points really dont get the great britain one as a popular phrase..kinda dumb quiz
Hejman : Dec 18th, 2010 at 14:37 GMT 6 points @Timberwolf- Armstrong meant to say the "a", but didn't. He first claimed that it was just obscured by static on the recording, but after reviewing it realized that he just flubbed the line. http://www.snopes.com/quotes/onesmall.asp @nrsilver- Awesome twist on the daily word scramble.
squiggsy : Dec 18th, 2010 at 20:08 GMT 10 points "Beam me up scotty" was never spoken on a Stark Trek film or TV show. The closest that it comes is "Scotty, beam us up".
It is similar to "Elementary my dear Watson", "Luke I am your father" and "Play it again Sam" as phrases most of the world thinks are spoken but were never actually said in the movie or show.
socraticmethod : Dec 18th, 2010 at 20:20 GMT 1 point As squiggsy said, "Beam me up, Scotty" was never actually spoken. Kind of like "Do you feel lucky?" from Dirty Harry, which was actually "Do I feel lucky?"
hawksdd : Dec 18th, 2010 at 22:26 GMT 2 points I had typed "the artist formerly know a-" when i ran out time. that was my last one, too. Great quiz nonetheless.
Timberwolf : Dec 18th, 2010 at 23:26 GMT 6 points @Hejman - thanks - I hadn't heard that part of the story, but snopes.com is a great source for checking urban legends. Bummer that I got voted down for bringing it up....
BonnieH : Dec 19th, 2010 at 00:42 GMT 6 points How is United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland a "phrase", familiar or otherwise?
BonnieH : Dec 19th, 2010 at 00:43 GMT 6 points The quiz didn't say they were specific lines from movies. Beam me up, Scotty is a familiar phrase, true to the film or not. Just like Play it again, Sam.

newtonsapple82 : Feb 27th, 2013 at 08:48 GMT 6 points Some of the scrambled letters in "wherefore" are censored out.
