The omission of the Giambi brothers is glaring.

Since you're giving us the last names, you oughta take the first.

I'd love to, but Sporcle doesn't really offer a good way to do that, unless I force players to guess every name in order -- but then that raises its own set of difficulties and annoyances. It would be equally pointless to instruct the system to accept "Joe" or "Bill" or "Bob" across the board. Then it just becomes a quiz on how many common male first names you can recall. The ideal thing would have a "guess each group in order" option, so that you could guess all the Alous at once, or all the DiMaggios. But Sporcle doesn't offer that.

@nrmnbates, all you have to do is write in a slash after the name then write the first name. For example, if an answer was Babe Ruth you for write in the answer column Babe Ruth/Babe

Right, but that doesn't work unless I want to give people credit for guessing names like "Joe" and "Bill" and "Mike" without even knowing who the players are. Your suggestion would turn it into a "How many random first names can you think of?" quiz.

If someone gets credit for typing in a common name, so what? All your doing is making it a huge inconvenience for everyone.

A solution: put the players on one line and have both names as an answer (Hank & Tommie/Tommie & Hank).
