I guess this is a pretty good list. It's nice to see that Mueller wasn't omitted, considering that he won a batting title and all. I actually don't know that I would change anything here.

Pretty good quiz and decent list, only exception being I'd probably put Foulke over Okajima for RP, they both had one amazing year to help win a championship and struggled afterwards, but Foulke is the face of the most memorable image in Boston sports history.

The idea that Trot Nixon was better than JD Drew is utterly laughable.

LinuxLinus: It really isn't considering Nixon played 450 more games for the Sox than Drew in the decade. His BA was also 2 points higher, SLG just 5 points lower, more RBI/162 and same amount of home runs.

sox_fan1468927: totally agree and he was one of the most reliable outfielders.

He couldn't hit lefties and RBI are a meaningless stat. Drew's a better hitter and a better fielder.

nixon was a dirtdog, loved playing the game and the fans, and loved the Red Sox. you can't tell the difference on the face of jd drew if he struck out looking or hit a walk off home run.
