	For the "intimidates" one, "cry" could also work (if "cry out" = "shout"). Also, it'd be helpful if a word other than "character" were used for the last clue, since it made me think of a character in a novel or movie instead of a letter/number/symbol.

	Felt like an idiot for missing syzygy, since I loved the X-Files episode by that name. Dang! Are there any X-Files quizzes? Very hard but fun quiz-- would, of course be much easier in Serbian.

	Tried "dry" for "Dryly amusing" only to find that it worked for "Not Seattle in the fall, winter, or spring." Hard quiz, but good.

	Fun quiz although with slightly strange clues as people have mentioned. I hate to be picky but eventually you'd get this comment from a fanatic Scrabble player: SYZYGY is not a 25 point word; if there are no bonus squares, it's a 21 point word at most: S, Y, Z, Y, G, blank. There are only 2 'Y' tiles in a Scrabble set.

	Accepting "cry" for "psych" has created the problem that anyone who guesses "crypt" will now get it. Might be best just to reword the clue to make it less vague and stop accepting "cry."

	One can't obtain 25 points by playing "syzygy" in a normal scrabble game because there are only two "y's." Thus a blank would have to be used and the score would be 21.

	@tkeene: actually, Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary has both "sty" and "stye" as variant spellings for the word.

	One tiny sticking point - although Sondheim did write the lyrics for Gypsy, Jule Styne is the composer, so technically it's not a "1959 Sondheim Musical" - most consider a Sondheim musical to be one of the many for which he wrote both lyrics and music. At a minimum, it's a "Sondheim/Styne" musical - the composer should never be left out of the picture without it being clear you're only referring to the lyricist.

	ok, that is maybe the worst clue imaginable for "dry". Didn't sporcle's teachers in middle school tell them that it's better grammatically to phrase things in the positive? Especially for such a common word.

	"From the Greek for 'bride'" is a weird "definition"—it's more of an etymology. I didn't know what the Greek word for "bride" was, so I tried "tryst," and then spent the rest of my time trying to think of another AEIOU-less word associated with love or weddings.
