I'd probably change the wording to "played in 20 different seasons." Some of these players' careers spanned 20 years, but due to missed seasons they weren't included.

I guess you're referring to Matt Stairs and Tim Wakefield, they played 19 seasons in a span of 20 years. I've removed them as decoys, thanks for the suggestion.
