Whoa! Jamshedpur has 1 million people, not 14 million! Isfahan, in Iran, has 1.5 million. What is your source?

^^ Just checked, and Jacksonville's metro has a population of 1,525,228, so it should be on the list.

Jamshedpur's metro population is over 14 million, meaning that the author of this quiz is not mistaken.

Jamshedpur in wiki says 1.42 million (they have a misplaced comma). Who else says it's so high? No other quizzes on wiki have it so high.

I see that now. We must then believe he also got his information from Wikipedia.

The 2010 numbers gave Jacksonville's urban/metro population as 913,125 so it actually shouldn't be here. Jacksonville, FL MSA have more than 1,3 million in it, but that includes entire counties where some parts do not have that much association with Jacksonville. For international comparisons, it's far more accurate to use urban area as that catches the sprawl but is independent of administrative borders. MSA is almost as wrong as City Proper when you compare between countries.

@adidag0 that's not a misplaced comma; the numbering system in India uses commas every two digits (excluding the last 3)
