Non playable character
Jan 6th, 2010 at 21:10 GMT
You might want to re-organize the quiz so that they are actually grouped together, instead of having "Other" categories everywhere. Also, what's up with RTFM?
Jan 6th, 2010 at 21:51 GMT
Having PS2, then PS3, then PSP is a little redundant, no?
Jan 6th, 2010 at 23:03 GMT
Yeah, the selections are weirdly random at best, and stupid at worst. NPC is right tho, it's not "non playable character". But seriously dude, fix or remove RTFM.
Jan 7th, 2010 at 01:30 GMT
Idk why its categorizing like this. I tried to fix it, but was unable, also RTFM is mentioned in Gameinformer magazine.
Jan 7th, 2010 at 02:29 GMT
Make sure that all of the questions in the same category are next to each other on the question list. For example, make it so the "other" questions are #20-26, or something similar. Just make sure that they are one right after another on the question list.

tbd can also be "to be determined." also mmo should accept "massive ..." or even "mass ..." arguably.
Jan 7th, 2010 at 12:16 GMT
RTS should be a genre as well.
Jan 7th, 2010 at 17:13 GMT
Hint- The F in RTFM stands for something different than in your answer.

Is it me or does 'Commodore 64' sound like a bingo call-out?
Jan 7th, 2010 at 21:08 GMT
Please accept "to be determined."

To add on to sbelkoski's comment, also accept "to be defined".

TBD should also accept "to be determined".

@elmarcodepico- Whats DPS?
Jan 12th, 2010 at 00:13 GMT
A lot of these things don't belong. SMG and LMG aren't video game terminology.
Jan 12th, 2010 at 23:18 GMT
This is the most random and craptastic quiz ever. Why would there be a category with two weapons???? Which are only from one type of game...and why would there be a category with ONE developer??....and you could probably find hundreds of acronyms for game names..but...you went with 4. If this quiz isn't deleted by weeks end I'm filing a complaint with the chancelor of the internet.

HUD, you should accept Heads-Up Display, and to give people a challenge, put ESRB in there as well and i mean as an answer.
Jan 16th, 2010 at 04:12 GMT
It's "non-playable character." I have never in my life heard anyone refer to it as "non-player character." I've never heard of RTFM. And to be decided should accept to be determined. Also, is FMJ seriously game terminology? I've only ever heard it reference to the movie, Full Metal Jacket.

BTSnoogans- FMJ is in Modern Warfare 2
Jan 20th, 2010 at 22:19 GMT
RTS should be considered a genre.
Feb 3rd, 2010 at 17:47 GMT
didnt accept adults only for me
Feb 8th, 2010 at 21:00 GMT
CG could also be "computer graphics"
Mar 25th, 2010 at 22:06 GMT
@BTSnoogans: I always think of NPC as Non-Player Character.
Mar 25th, 2010 at 22:06 GMT
Just take out the grouping altogether.
Mar 25th, 2010 at 22:10 GMT
Some of these aren't acronyms, such as XP (Which should accept experience), M, that kind of stuff. Those are just shortened words.

BTW I got all of this from GameInformer Magazine so u all can suck it!
Apr 6th, 2010 at 06:00 GMT
IP also stands for Internet Protocol. It's the same IP from "IP Address", so it's relevant to the topic.
Apr 6th, 2010 at 14:23 GMT
if you did get it from GameInformer Magazine then list the source.
Apr 7th, 2010 at 01:54 GMT
there's more to making a quiz than looking at a magazine and dumping the info into a spreadsheet. put a little more thought into it, do a little research, and this could be a nice quiz. I would avoid any categories you lack more than 3 entries in, and instead focus on things like games, genres, and more jargon like FTW, LFP, and WTG
Jan 24th, 2011 at 20:13 GMT
Needs more leniency. Non-PLAYABLE character and MASSIVE Multiplayer Online, for starters.
