mayor is older; viejo or anciano should work for old.

you should accept answers without accents. desagradable for unpleasant funny is more divertido or alegre than cómico(that's comic) paciente is mispelled vago also for lazy flaco also for thin and as it has been said viejo or anciano for old. mayor means older and it may be used sometimes to refer to an old person, but never to old things for example.

So many faults/ emissions, not accepting answers without accents is ridiculous.

Accents? The words are misspelled if not accented. Accents should be required. Maybe Sporcle could add a side window and make the accented letters clickable.

Needs a LOT more synonyms. "Flaco" doesn't work for skinny, "lindo" for handsome/pretty, etc. Also, remove the need for accents/tildes. It's silly to be so pedantic regarding using the native characters of a language when you're 1) On an internet quiz site where the first priority is to have fun and 2) When the majority of the site's users are Americans who don't want to have to go through the trouble of using a Spanish keyboard to do a Sporcle quiz.

There are a number of synonyms for some of these words, and you NEED to accept them without accents.

Like many people have said you HAVE TO accept viejo for old. Mayor translates to older. You should also accept amable for antipatico.

Everything that has been said is very true. Also, "nice" confused me. Maybe friendly instead. I wanted to put bueno or lindo. accents were obnoxious....if you are going to make a quiz in a language that is not your first language you should be sure that everything is correct.

So the most an English-speaking person can get is 21 since we can't ad accent marks.

Yeah thanks a lot for making this do-able only for Spanish keyboardists. English speakers don't have the accents, at least not readily available. Also, paciente is misspelled and mayor is OLDER, old is viejo. And there are variations that you should accept, e.g. desagradable for unpleasant. But it doesn't look like you review the critiques of your quiz.

It's not "patiente", it's "paciente". Also, unpleasant can be "desagradable", funny can be "divertido", pretty can be "lindo", "bello", thin can be "fino", "liviano", and old can be "viejo", "anciano"...
