I think you should denote which QBs are still active. Right now it seems like they all retired in 2008.

I sometimes forget that Terry Bradshaw, despite not being the BEST QB, played on a team with Franco Harris and that Steelers D. I know, Bradshaw was good, but I never thought of him as elite.

Also, Manning is gonna crack the top 5 next season. Here's to him beating Favre, who I deeply despise because Packers fans are annoying and because he just played so long and doesn't really deserve many of his records. He's great, but not THAT great.

Very good quiz. My one disagreement would be that "star" works for Bart Starr. I don't think you should get credit if you can't spell that short of a name (plus it's annoying because it leaves you with an extra "r" in the box when you spell it correctly). Like the quiz on the whole though, good stuff.

31/41. Got the top 19, and the only one I'm really mad about missing is McNair. I was not at all aware that Brunell was still active, though.

I think this list is a much better representation of the greatest QBs of all time than the all-time yards and all-time TD lists (also Sporcle games). Also: Rich Gannon spent the MAJORITY of his career as a back-up in Minnesota and KC. How incredible is it that he is on this list? And think how much higher he would be if he had been a starter his entire career. Hadl: Rock Chalk Jayhawk.

Football players certainly were not on my mind tonight, but after viewing the list, I wouldn't have gotten most of them anyway. I'd better stick to geography!

JP & emh: I hear ya! I always miss one of the big ones too - and it's usually the guy who's #4 on this list. No matter how many QB-related quizzes I do, I almost always forget about him!

Really surprised that some names weren't on this list. I kept typing Danny White and Joe Namath. I was sure they'd be here.

to the genius who posted 19 more wins for Brady, if I am not mistaken this is regular season wins only.... playoff wins don't count. also maybe 12 tops.

@Seth - that 19 wins comment was tongue-in-cheek. I don't honestly expect any team to go 16-0 again anytime soon. That said I hope he'll make it back from injury and add something to his tally next season. You are however quite correct that it this list is regular season wins only - otherwise Brady would be much higher ;-)

I'm surprised Craig Morton made it on this list, he was inconsistent throughout his career. He's one of the worst QB's to ever start in a Super Bowl, besides Tony Eason and Rex Grossman.

This should include a disclaimer that it only includes "modern" QBs. YA Tittle (1948-64) had 80 wins, Bobby Layne (1948-62) had 81. Otto Graham had 104 if you include the AAFC.
