| Nick GAS is gone now, but I loved watching the reruns about two years ago and catching the things I never noticed as a kid, like Kirk Fogg's exasperated "encouragement" of the winded kids who clearly never got more than a "Participant" ribbon at Field Day, or the moments where you hear Olmec shuffling papers to find his cheesy lines, or how pathetic those gifts were when you really think about ("Sweet, I just won a pair of $25 sneakers, woo!"). You kinda get the feeling everyone on that show was drinking just to get through the day, which obviously makes it even more awesome. Making it even better, there are sites out there with interviews of the kids on that show that pretty much confirm these observations. In conclusion: Adult version now, please. |
