Another nice quiz! Unfortunately, I did not think outside the box tonight (or, rather, the Arctic circle).

id thought of making this quiz for a while, but never really got excited about it since it would have been so short and heavily based on latitude. but since ive been short on ideas, i decided why not. interesting side note-this is the first quiz i've made of this type where chile made the cut but argentina didn't.

Wonderful quiz but could probably be a minute blitz. On a side note, when Argentina didn't work I actually skipped Chile but circled back to it when my other guesses didn't work.

If I were you, I'd possibly take one of the mainland Danish fjords, like Limfjorden, Lammefjorden or Vejle Fjord.

@andr5036-the mainland danish fjords actually aren't true fjords-they were carved out by glaciers moving onto the land from the sea, rather than from land into the sea. they're just called fjords because in the Danish language, fjord can refer to any long, narrow inlet

I think a footnote is in order for this quiz...You should state that some of these Fjords are located in a countries "territory" or "autonomous region". ie - Denmark and France for the quiz.

@psubball1-I usually do do that for these types of quizzes, but since there are so few countries, i decided to make it a bit more challenging. but under further consideration, i guess a not at the top won't hurt.

Newenglander: I think Xander made a bad pun. Fords = fjords. Chevies = chejvies. Nice quiz, btw. Thank Goodness I tried Chile before I tried Argentina.

I was hoping my hockey knowledge would come in handy here, but apparently the Messier Sound was NOT named after Mark Messier.

As far as I'm concerned, a Spanish-speaking nation like Chile was just asking to be the least-guessed answer on this quiz when they gave one of their geographical landmarks a French name.

Just being picky (but then I am a Sporcler), but the north side of Carlingford Lough is in the UK.

Good quiz, although I'm pretty the Icelandic one is called Dyrafjordur (Well, if I wanna be picky then it's Dýrafjörður but that's not important)

@tearyennui-montenegro has no fjords. a lot of those adriatic countries are often thought of as having fjords, but really they are called rias-river valleys with no history of glaciation that were submerged when the sea level rose. similar formation to fjords, but without the glaciers
