the obvious mistake on this one would be that st vincent and grenadines is on there twice

Nice idea, but needs to be cleaned up and given a source (non-wiki is preferable). Also Palestine and Taiwan would be nice bonus answers (as neither is recognized as a sovereign state by the US [or Sporcle], neither has an embassy but both have sizable recognition worldwide)

@Riko: disagree about Taiwan's status in regard to Sporcle. It *is* treated as a sovereign state by most (if not all) quizzes including the influential published countries of the world quiz.

Interestingly there are no embassies in Vatican City. Embassies to the Vatican are all located outside Vatican City in Rome, there simply isn't enough room in the country itself.

I think the Vatican should have an "*" because it does have an embassy, but it is not within the borders of the Vatican.
