The state of the team is its implied location. For example: A team plays in Yellowstone. They say they are from Wyoming despite the fact they play in Idaho it would count as if they were from Wyoming. If the team was called Yellowstone then the state would be were ever they played. Please let me know if I made any mistakes. What do you think of the time limit?

Quiz seems worthy, but I'm confused by your comment.

good idea but a few problems. Wisconsin is the state, not Milwaukee. Also, you don't count pre-Super Bowl NFL Championships, and you should. This would give the Packers more, and the Bears would represent Illinois with 9 titles and there may be more. As to his comment, I think he means that the New York Giants would count for NY, even though they play in NJ

What tc22 said - it's ridiculous all these quizzes that ignore pre-Super Bowl NFL championships.

Ok, but how far should I go back for all the other sports.
You are correct about the Giants and the the Redskins would be fore Washington DC and Kansas City for Missouri.

One of the Vancouver teams, the Millionaires, while winning the Stanley Cup, existed before the NHL was established. The Cougars did win in 1925 against an NHL team, but was never part of the NHL (even if this team did later became the Detroit Red Wings). Sort of confusing, but a good challenging answer

kind of weird how you are including pre-super bowl championships. in that case you should include the afl as well. but even if you changed this, i dont think it would affect the state's most championship teams. the packers would still win and the bears would too. i dont think most people think of non-super bowl championships though

I had to type in "Vancouver Millionaires" or "Victoria Cougars" instead of "Millionaires" or "Cougars". When the rest of the quiz accepts just the team name (even the double answer ones), I'm a little confused by this.

Updated. Do people want me to include pre-versions of the current leagues or not?

I'm fascinated that Louisville won a championship. I found out on Wikipedia that Louisville had both a NL team and an NFL team named Colonels but I dont see them mentioned as champions in any year listed.
